The Mino effectively isolates speech while removing disturbing background sounds. The result is crystal clear speech with no noise. We offer a number of accessories for the Mino. Non-hearing aid users can, for example, choose to listen using headphones, MicroSet™ earphones or Stetoclips.

With friends

Most bars, cafés and restaurants are generally quite busy places, with music playing and a lot of people speaking at the same time. If you are hard of hearing, it’s easy to feel left out, not understanding what everyone else is laughing about. Just change to the zoom microphone and the background noise will be reduced dramatically so you can focus on the conversation.

In theaters

Do you avoid movie theaters and concerts? Many public venues, such as theaters, concert halls, and churches, are fitted with hearing loops. Sound from the loudspeakers in such venues is converted into an electromagnetic field that the Mino picks up via its built-in Telecoil. The Mino’s Telecoil always delivers perfect sound, whether it’s placed in your pocket or on a table. Look for a T-symbol sign next time you visit your favorite movie theater.

In stores

When you’re shopping down town, it’s handy to keep the Mino in a pocket so that both your hands are free. The MicroSet™ is a unique accessory specially developed for such times. It includes a small lapel microphone that you simply attach to your clothes and a discreet earphone that you pop in your ear. The lapel microphone reduces the background noise in the store, so you can talk with the clerk uninhibited.

Watching TV

When you have difficulty hearing, it’s easy to turn the TV volume up to the max, which other family members don’t always appreciate. With the Mino, there’s no reason to turn up the TV volume to hear better. Use a cable kit to connect the Mino to the TV and you can enjoy great TV sound in stereo while sparing your family’s ears. If you want to comment on the show, simply press the Push-to-Listen button on the Mino to lower the volume and join the conversation.

With hearing aids

If your hearing aid isn’t quite enough in certain situations, you should try connecting it to your Mino using our discreet neck loop. The Mino further amplifies the sound and also acts as a remote for easy adjustment of the volume and treble, as well as microphone selection. You can also connect the Mino to the TV to amplify the TV sound in your hearing aid.
