How Domino Pro works

The Domino system consists of a transmitter and a receiver, equipped with state-of-the-art microphones.

How it works. Sound is picked up by the transmitter or receiver and converted into digital data. Speech is clarified and annoying background noise is eliminated. The sound is then streamed over an encrypted wireless radio link to the receiver. The receiver amplifies the sound and sends it to your headphones, earphones or hearing aids via a neck loop.

At work

Do you have trouble hearing what’s being said at meetings or seminars? When people talk at the same time in a large room it is often very difficult to distinguish speech from background noise and echo. Domino helps you to pick up speech in these situations as you can place the transmitter microphone near the distant speaker. To further clarify speech, just point the transmitter to the person you want to hear and select the zoom microphone from your receiver unit.

At school

Do you find it difficult to hear what your teacher is saying in class? Even if your teacher at the other side of the classroom, Domino Pro will deliver the teacher’s voice directly in your ears, loud and clear. Completely wireless and impossible to eavesdrop. If you want to communicate with your schoolmate beside you, simply press the Push-to-Listen-button to hear the conversation around you.

In restaurants

Restaurants, bars, cafés are generally quite busy places, with music playing and a lot of people talking at the same time. If you are hard of hearing, it’s easy to feel left out, not understanding what everyone else is laughing about. Just change to the zoom microphone and the background noise will be reduced dramatically so you can focus on the conversation.

In your car

A car is one of the hardest sound environments to conduct a conversation in. Besides the noise from the road, wind and engine, the passengers are normally facing away from you. This makes it almost impossible to hear what’s being said.

Watching TV

Connect your Domino transmitter to the TV and sit back and enjoy perfect sound in full stereo. There is no longer a need to increase the volume on your TV, which may cause irritation from your partner or neighbors. When you want to discuss the film with your partner, you can easily mix the sound from the TV with the internal microphones on the receiver.
