Mimi & Martin are both deaf but can still be alerted when their daughter cries.

Mimi & Martin and their six month old daughter Susanne have just moved into a very nice three-room apartment with a lovely balcony at the back. Martin and Mimi are both deaf, and so they were looking for an easy to use solution to help alert them to Susanne’s crying, as well as to signals from the doorbell, the text telephone and the smoke detector. Martin also wanted to have a clear wake-up alarm in the morning, which wouldn’t bother Mimi. Was it really possible to satisfy all their needs?



Could it be solved?

The answer is yes! A Bellman Visit Door Transmitter was placed close to the doorbell and a Bellman Visit Telephone Transmitter was connected to the telephone socket. A Bellman Visit Baby Cry Transmitter was placed close to Susanne’s bed and a Bellman Visit Smoke Detector Transmitter was placed on the hall ceiling. Since Martin and Mimi are both deaf and can’t hear acoustical signals, they both use a Bellman Visit Pager, which alerts by vibration and light signals.

The Pager is also very convenient to use in everyday life, when they are carrying Susanne or sitting on the balcony. To charge their Pagers, both Martin and Mimi use a Bellman Visit Charger, kept close to their bed. Martin ’s Charger includes a Bellman Alarm clock with a Bed-shaker connected to it, while Mimi ’s Charger only has a Bed-shaker.
   

 
     
 
   

 
Door transmitter
